Catching
Ladies and Gentlemen, let me begin with a short endorsement: Theraflu (the kind with “warming relief” to be specific) is nothing short of awesome. I might go so far as to call it Miraculous if the second ingredient on the label wasn’t alcohol. Hah!
I am feeling much better.
I even made my Darling Sister (who is coming to visit today YAY!) a little surprise because I love her and often think of her when I am sick.
You know whats. In some Blue Sky Alpaca.
Everybody else is making them. I was really starting to feel left out. They are a quick, interesting knit and a nice break from those socks. They are also probably full of Flu Germs, which is why I changed the name to “Catching.” It had a better ring to it than “Mitts of Death.” Sounds almost cute right? Be sure to remind her of that when she is huddled in bed with chills and fever waiting for the sweet release of death.
Enough sick talk! Look! Kitty!
William Henry, you’re up so high!

Ahhh. Fetching. I may be the last person to make them. Not because they’re not great, bc they are. And in BSA, I bet they’re just perfect!

I’m very glad to see that your ravaging illness seems to have left your excellent sense of humor intact.
I remain in the shriveling minority of people who have not made Fetching. Thanks for abandoning me.

Ha! Love the new name. Glad you are feeling better! I’ll have to try Theraflu sometime.

In random order:
*Tell William Henry that I used to annoy our girlie (when she was wee)by lifting her way up and she’d crow, “I’m up high!” and then evil-mommy would say, “What kind of pie?” and girlie would say (indignantly), “No, up HIGH!” and we’d go round and round for about 5 minutes until evil mommy laughed so hard she had to stop.
*Why am I the only person to query why it is that you think often of your Darling Sister when you’re sick?
*So TheraFlu on the rocks with a twist? Or do you have Liquid Grape Tylenel shots with Thera-Flu chasers?
Now I guess I’ll mosey over and introduce myself to Rachel as I have no Fetchings to show for myself, either. Fine. Make me go meet other cool bloggers.
