I don't live in hurricane country, but we loose power here and there from the storms and when we loose power, we have NOTHING (everything is electric - heat, water/well pump, toilet/septic pump, stove, fridge, everything!). It bites! We lost it for 3 days this past winter (scroll back on my blog - Jan I believe)... Looking forward to the next swap you start... So btw, do you have to knit sock #2?? Its a gorgeous sock!
