You're now the world's luckiest new mom. Disgusting! ;) I remember those "it takes an hour to feed" days as well - everyone else around me with new babes took fifteen minutes! Took me almost four months to realize that the Munch wasn't so much feeding as he was sipping & napping. The football hold woke him up so much that around five months old he finally (finally!) did that whole "the baby will pull away when full" thing that I had always been reading about but never quite believed in. I thought that something was wrong at first - "pulling away while nursing?!?!?!?? What's up with that????" Until my MIL pointed out to me that (gasp!) it wasn't that something was wrong - it was just that he was done! Ah..............little wee babies! Even when they're annoying and confusing they're still beautiful, stunningly delicate, and amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep, it’s official. You’re now the world’s luckiest new mom.

I thought that was such a long time and wished i could get other things done at the same time. Now that he nurses so quickly and not as much, I almost wish for those long periods of time where he was content nursing for 45 minutes. ALMOST.
