We had to pick up branches and raked up lots of pine straw but all is well on my part of the Gulf Coast. We only lost power for a few minutes which is a testimony to how well they beefed up their system after Hurricane Katrina! Over here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast stores are closing and mandatory evacuations have been ordered for the low-lying areas...I am just thankful that in the Dish Rag Tag my turn will not come up until the end of the race...so hopefully Gustav and any other storm won't delay the postal service in my area! Pray for our protection! Great pic of Ellie! She is a cutie!!!
