If you get the gauge you want on the second try…that’s is the sweater you should make next, right?
That’s better.
Forget all that other stuff from before. I am making the Deep V Sweater (ravelry link – but it’s the cover sweater) from Erika Knight’s Classic Knits.
I’ll match the ElliePhant.
Great Gran abandoned a cardigan at the perfect moment. I love it when she says, “Here, Em-loo, can you do anything with this?”
I gotta go cast-on before I look at my To Do List and see something else that needs doing!
If I could knit like you, maybe I would actually do it sometime. I seem to have lost my knitting mojo. 🙁
Emily, do you prefer to knit with cotton even on these larger (larger than dishrags I mean) things? I like cotton yarn for little articles but I think it’d drive me buggy for something big – too grabby. That sweater looks very classy and I love the colour.
Oh Grams are the BEST. She must have known in her heart you needed to make this!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!!! Knitting is on my list of things to learn–what a fun site you have here 🙂
Hey if it only takes two tries, it’s meant to be. It’ll be a nice looking sweater.
