I tried this last night and it was really good. Thanks for sharing it with us. I had been wanting some chili but didn't have any hamburger and didn't want to go to the store after work. I had been thinking about making it the same way I would with the meat but leaving the meat out and then I saw your post and I gave that a try. I rally enjoyed it.

I have only even eaten veg chili... my Mum always used canned lentils to simulate the texture of loose ground beef... so good.
Yours looks great (fun on fries!), happy experimenting!

Mmmm. Looks really good! I stopped eating beef several months ago and have really enjoyed Boca. Have you tried it? It comes in a "flame-grilled burger" and in crumbles that I now use in my Chili. I would never have thought my Meat & Potatoes kind of guy would like it, but we both do. A lot! Your Chili sounds great and I love your suggestions for enjoying it :)
