My Mom offered to make a couple of starter dish cloths for me since she was test knitting the pattern.
She ended up making six.
I guess that means it’s a pretty good pattern? With her six, my three and Great Gran’s four, I’ve got a few more than I actually need for the team boxes.
Speaking of teams, assignments have been made. If you are signed up for Dish Rag Tag and you haven’t gotten an email to that effect, log in without delay and correct your email address (or check your spam folder)! While you’re there, take a peek at your teammates and get in touch with your Captain.
Two weeks until the start of the race! Will I be ready? Will you?
Oooh! Love the pattern and pretty colors. I’m so excited I think I might need to pick up some Sugar N’Cream this weekend and practice a bit.
Pretty!!! I love stacks of dish cloths. π
OOO they look awesome!!! I can’t wait to knit it!!!
π Awesome job!!
This looks like a lovely textured cloth. THANKS!!
I may have missed seeing it somewhere. Can you tell us what size needles we’ll need? I want to make sure I have them on hand for when the box arrives. Thanks!
beautiful pattern and colors!
I think a stack of colorful dishcloths makes such a pretty picture!
They really are lovely, and I’m feeling like a kid at Christmas here, LOL. ;-ΓΕΎ
I am a little too disorganized to participate, but I can’t wait till it is over and you share the pattern. You do share the pattern when it is over don’t you?
Gorgeous! I can’t wait!
How pretty! I’m so excited!
these look delightful – we use some like this at home (sadly, none that I’ve made – knitting and I have not become friends yet π and they are fantastic.
Can’t wait, love the pattern!
RE: Needle Size
I used 6s, Mom used 7s and Great Gran used 5s. We all got a 7″ dish cloth. Whatever needle size you normally use for dish cloths is probably fine. I’ll do a little swatch and give you a better idea of gauge in the next DRT update.
