Congratulations! Such speed! Such teamwork! You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves, and Captain Natalie must be beside herself! I take it back when I called the small flat rate boxes “flimsy.” They CAN withstand a 12 knitter journey if it’s fast enough.

I’ve got a beautiful Dish Rag from the Doggone’s last leg, Laura! Great peach yarn to start next year’s race, a post card from Marie in Michigan and a collection of stitch markers from the Doggone Dishrag Addicts that are pretty enough to hang on a necklace!

WOW, I can finally breathe a sign of relief. This past week was so stressful. Thanks to you Emily for making my first Dish Rag Tag the greatest fun. Thanks to our fantastic Captain, Natalie, for helping us strategize the quickest way for the box to travel across the USA and a big CONGRATULATIONS to all the DOGGONE DISHRAG ADDICTS for getting the dish rag knit and on its way as quickly as you did. WE DID IT!!!

I entered the race for the first time 2 years ago and my team came in last and I was literally the last knitter in the race. This has been a great come back year for me. Thank you Emily for the race and to my AWESOME team, this was a lot of fun.
