Bath Time for Pink Meow

gently gently

Washing that Pink Meow

I worked out a little tutorial to show my customers how to hand wash a stuffed animal. If you’ve got a minute, would you take a look at it and tell me if there is anything I left out or that should be added?

Thanks a million.

Looks great! I let my daughter take her friend into the tub with her. She was super gentle and then we dried him off by rolling him in towels and leaving him to air dry. She’s a little older than your E, but still having a bath with her friend thrilled her to no end. While it’s not a regular thing, I’m super glad I let her do it “just this once”.

    what temp for the water?

I’m so glad you posed this. People always ask me and think its too hard or complicated! Now they can see its easy-peasy!

LOVE the new website ‘header’ — not sure if that’s the right terminology — but whatever it is called, love the picture of you and Ellie. She has your hands.

I have to check it out later. I have no current little ones in the house, but I have an old loved white stuffed puppy that may love a bath!
I too love your new blog look.

Thank you so much for posting this!! My little girl is 2 and is always carrying around at least 1 of the animals that i have made her ( the rabbit, bear, the cat which is her very favorite, and the elephant). Your patterns are very popular in my house. Lol :). I have a few questions though. What temp. Water should i use….warm or cold? I used soft acrylic yarns ( baby yarn) on a few of the animals and i filled them all with reg. poly- fil. Can i still hand wash them as well? Also, my little girl has very sensitive skin and is allergic to a lot of ” scent” soaps so i have to be very careful what i wash her things with. Is the soap that you use and recommend mild….ie does it have a scent? I am going to buy a bottle of it but before i do i thought that i might ask you first. Or is there anything else mild that you would recommend.

I also love the new border :). So cute:). I have been following your blog for a year now and i wanted to tell you how much i enjoy it. Thank you for sharing your amazing patterns . You are so talented!!

Excellent tutorial, very clear, love step 8. Reminds me I could use a massage. 🙂
