So the second sock has been a little down in the dumps because his buddy got to got to DC. To improve his morale, we took him out to dinner on Sunday. He picked the place.
Papa’s Pizza has a new location with a “view of the Bay.” Which means: if you sit by the window, crane your neck, look over the highway and trees, you can see the water. Heh.
Guess what Mom and Great Gran and I are doing tomorrow! You’ll never guess. I’ll give you a clue:
This is all your fault Becky. I do mean that in the nicest possible way!
I keep meaning to buy Kool-aid. I’m just worried my son will drink it before I have time to dye with it!
My Black Purl socks are growing slowly but surely I will send you a picture when the first one is done. Ended up doing the Elfine pattern which I love.
Hope to stick a small parcel in the mail for you and Great Gran on Tuesday (she did pull my name out of the hat after all 😉 )
Have fun tomorrow!
I’m dyeing yarn AS I type this. It’ll probably be a big disaster!
Yeah, blame Becky – all her fault – in the nicest possible way! ;o)
I hope the pizza helped second sock feel better. I can’t wait to see the Kool Aid dyeing results. It’s so much fun.
My gosh that’s a LOT of Koolaid!! heh Can’t wait to see how it comes out! 🙂
Yummy pizza! I hope you didn’t have to share with the sock. Have fun dyeing!
I am jealous! All that Kool Aid looks like a whole bunch of fun! “View of the Bay” cracks me up. Mwah!

Oooh what fun you guys are going to have!
I can just see the three of you now.. giggling and havin’ fun. The miracles of KoolAid are astounding.

Ok, I’ll bite. Hmmm..drinking a LOT of Koolaid? Was I close? 😉
Yesterday I finally got to trying the Kool-Aid thing on some roving. Fun! I used the “hot-pour” method from the “Twisted Sisters Sock Workbook”.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah blame me go ahead! LOL! Kool aide dyeing is fun. I can’t wait to hear how it comes out!
Hey, Emily…I read all the posts from the 6th thru 17th – wow! You’ve been busy! How cool is it that you can blog from the airport? Technology is great. I love the trip your sock took and a camera phone is now in my future! I’m behind on blogging but will be buying a MacBook computer this weekend that I hope will make my life easier. Take care!
Wow, that is a serious investment of Kool-Aid. I sense big plans. I think you should dye a color way called “View of the Bay” and have it be mostly any color but blue.
