It really IS like Christmas around here.
The DishPaw Ragger box has arrived and claimed the sixteenth finishing position! When I opened it, this is what I found:
Red and Green!
Holly (oh my, her name even matches) packed me a holiday in a box!
The candy cane cards are sideways to obscure addresses.
The yarn ornament and the “seasonal” stitch markers are wonderful. There was even a little something for Ellie. Even the dish rag for the Dishpaw Captain, Natalie, blends right in! She will be tickled to death when I get this in the mail! The DishPaw Raggers (and I hope someone will enlighten us in the comments about the ‘Paw’ part or their team name) also sent me a tour of the US in postcard form.
Yay!
You know, I just got to thinking about some kind of state matching game played with post cards. I made up a similar game when I was working on my Art Ed degree..a kind of dominoes using the attributes of the pieces featured on the post card. The state one would uses bordering states to make matches: AL could be played on FL or Ga for example. Sorry for the digression, but I don’t want to forget the idea!
Thank you so much again Holly and all the DishPaw Raggers!

PS Holly, we need to add you to the Alabama Knitblogger List.
PPS Prize Postage Update: I ordered a bunch. These are going to be some stamp-laden envelopes when I get finished.
Ooh, that is a GREAT game idea!
Sounds like geography dominoes!
I am so glad you like the goodies. I made the ornament for you and the stitch markers. I was so excited when I saw that ornament, that’s when I knew what I was going to do for a coming home arrival. Oh, the Dish Paw Raggers, is because we either all have dogs or cats like them and they have paws. So, Dish Paw Raggers it is. Thanks, this was so much fun, can’t wait for the next.
We did have one person without either but she was ok with us naming the team DishPaw Raggers. 🙂 I think I kind of pushed for a Doggie/Kitty related name as the captain….since I’m just a tad obsessed with Doggies. 🙂
I also had a great time!! I’m so glad our package made it. We had two hurricanes in our way but our team had great spirit. It was so much fun to be a part of it!! Thank you again Emily for all you do!!
Way to go DishPaw Raggers!
I LOVE the gifts y’all put in your box. They are super cute!
Congrast DishPaw-ers!
Congratulations to the DishPaw Raggers! Great job and neat gifts!
