Cute cute cute. What’s up with all the little girl clothing links, Emily? Well, it’s summer. Summer makes me want to sew.

yarn harlot
It looks like the Yarn Harlot will be in Fairhope in May!
Wee Tinies Away!
I mailed my Wee Tiny Sock today, did you?
Now I am going to empty the dishwasher and reload it. My life is so glamorous.
ruffles
A ruffled top tutorial – in any size! The question is, am I brave enough to try it? I’ll never get better at sewing if I don’t try new things.
Helping: A Photo Essay
In spite of all the excellent help, I still managed to finish my Wee Tiny Sock in time for Monday’s mail.
So there.
Ruby Sapphire‘s Luster in the “Mary Esther” colorway. One of my all time favorite yarns.
Match Made in … Blogland?
Wee Tiny Swappers!
Matches were emailed late Friday evening (Michael has to do stuff called “work” occasionally. Unfortunately, this can interfere with my “play.”) If your downstream pal’s information isn’t in your in-box, please check your spam folder. The email is from sockswappr at gweezlebur. If you didn’t receive your match, just drop me a line or leave a comment and I will work to remedy the situation.
Happy Wee Knitting!
shirt
I have become infatuated with this shirt.
Free Cone Day
It was Free Cone Day on Tuesday so we made our second annual trip to Biloxi to celebrate!
Ellie had strawberry.
I took my cousin’s graduation socks as day trip knitting and made a fair amount of progress.
Classic Socks from The Knitting Man(ual)
Don’t get too excited, when I got home, I realized that they were waaaaaay too loose. Now I am back to the cast on and a smaller pair of needles.
I’ve still got almost a month.
I’m glad I like the pattern.
Closed!
Wee Tiny Sock Swap sign-ups are closed with 66 registered swappers.
Ooops. 67. I forgot to sign up. Lucky I have a guy who can fix that for me.
Check your email on Friday to find out your Wee Tiny Pal’s identity!
lessons unlearned
Are you telling me that congress has learned NOTHING about rushed, badly written legislation (I’m looking at you, CPSIA) that now they want to regulate produce in the same over-reaching, power-hungry manner? The way that bill reads now, it would be illegal to share tomatoes from your backyard with your neighbors.
