The back is finished.
Candy reward shown for scale.
It only took me … what? Two weeks?
Sheesh.
On the upside, that’s the largest piece!
PS The alpaca didn’t work for the February Lady Sweater (I wasn’t satisfied with the fabric at the required gauge on top of my fuzz issues). But I’ve got some Cotlin in the closet that might need a second look. I was going to make a Surplice Lace Top, but I’m not sure I would actually wear it if the bodice didn’t fit exactly right.
Congratulations! I’d be rewarding myself with three KING-sized snickers if I could manage a back in only two weeks. I bow to your example!
I’d say it’s time well spent!
OK.. are these the regular size snickers?? or the minis? 🙂
Congratulations on finishing the biggest part! Let me know how the Cotlin works out if you try it… I know there is some in my stash somewhere.
Thats 2 weeks with a very important baby you are raising! it looks great. Snickers eh? I like mine a bit cold….
Candy reward! Love it! Knit on, my dear!!
Congrats! A candy reward is the best kind. Two weeks doesn’t sound bad with a baby around.
Your baby is adorable. I’m just getting back to reading blogs after having my baby. It’s so fun to see what 18 months looks like! I’m bummed I missed Dishrag Tag this year. Hopefully next year!
I don’t know whether to be more impressed with your knitting, or your restraint in leaving the Snickers alone long enough to photograp them! Seriously, though, it is looking really good!
