I am a clumsy beginning knitter, but I keep trying to get it right. I found this website about a year ago while looking on the web for a yarn swift. I just wanted to say (and I wrote to Emily last year about this, but I just wanted to say it again) I really enjoy this site and the blogs. I work six days a week (I own a book shop) and never seem to have any free time, but was recently home for a couple of weeks following major surgery. Having found myself unable to do much more than sit and watch the dust get thicker on my furniture, I picked up my Husband’s laptop and looked for something interesting and there was Yarn Miracle. I spent a couple of hours perusing the blogs, galleries & patterns, till I dozed off. It was a glorious way for me to spend my day and I am so grateful for all of you good folks who post so much information that is so helpful to beginners like me. You are saving my sanity! One day, I hope to knit as well as you folks do.
