I don’t know if you should be admired or simply sat upon to keep you from overdoing it! 😉
After the Munchkin was born I was functional for – oh – about two weeks and the colic clicked in and I totally Lost It. Getting 15 minutes to myself once a night for a shower was an absolute gift. That is, it was a medium-sized gift, as frequently I ended up taking my shower while my husband stood *just* outside the bathroom door with our screaming Bundle of Joy in his arms. Don’t ask me why he thought that I wanted to hear that during my only “me” time of the day – maybe he felt like it was sharing – and therefore bringing us closer together?
😉
Needless to say, no knitting happened in my house (unless it was knitting that a friend did while visiting) for a Very Very Very Long Time.
Then again, I didn’t have a little bundle of sweetness & perfection like Ellie at home with me!!!!!!!!
Good for you! Wonder if these were the first handknit socks received from a patient 🙂 Gorgeous yarn! Oh, yes, baby socks are exponentially cuter on wee tiny feet.
