Good Times

Ellie’s Second Nap might be my favorite nap. I’d be knitting except for one thing.

My knitting bag is closed.

I can put clothes away, wash dishes in the sink, have a shower, cut up paper tape, walk all around the room, type, read blogs, and send text messages without waking her up. I can do anything except open the velcro on my knitting bag.

Really - you couldn’t take it in another room? What’s she have against knitting?

Funny what wakes up a kid. For my Girly it was also velcro. I had to go in the bathroom and cover my shoes with a towel to muffle the sound before I could take them off.

I could have gone in the bathroom to open it! That never even occurred to me. Not even a little bit. I’ll be ready the next time.

The bag is so nifty. Where might I get one?

Velcro used to scare the pyjamas off of Angus! Savor the naps, I repeat- S-A-V-O-R the naps.

You need a knitting bag without velcro.

I can’t go into my sewing room while mine is napping. Sympathy!
