Progress

Not a lot of Mermaid progress – but I did convince Ellie to let me pull out her (the mermaid’s) body and make a couple changes – smaller bottom for starters.

I really like the tail yarn (even thought it's splitty).

I really like the tail yarn (even though it likes to split).

The school room is almost finished. All I’m really waiting on is the Cat Tree. I’m sure cat furniture is on at least one of the “Top 10 Things Your Homeschool MUST Have” lists. Did I tell you the Grade 2 Curriculum came? More about that later.

I’m planning a little “Good-bye, Summer” party for the Girl Scouts next week. I’m at the craft picking stage. That’s my favorite part.

What kind of progress have y’all made this week?

I’ve been slowly knitting a Rainy Day Turtle and hand spinning some dyed Cormo wool. Finally bottled some lovely banana wine. Glad to hear your school room is nearly done 🙂

I repurposed the area that has been a flowerbed for the past several years but somehow aspired to me a weed-bed this year. Though the season is late, it will make me smile to see flowers there again before sn** 🙂

Hardly any. Classes start soon, and I’m just not ready to face it! What yarn is that? It’s pretty!

We are doing a lot of Konmari purging and it feels great. Almost caught up on spinning two years worth of shearings. That also feels great. Looking forward to a lot of knitting this fall and winter.
