It looks all snowy and pretty, but y’all, it’s all ice. I didn’t even leave footprints.
No school tomorrow because that mess isn’t about to melt with two hours of above freezing.
But it’ll be 70° this weekend!

All ice in Athens, Georgia, too. And the same crazy swing back up in temperature in a few days!
We got some ice down here. Not anywhere near as much as you did. Of course, we haven’t left the house and our neighborhood is full of trees. B got the day off work as the college was closed. Everything’s back to normal tomorrow, though, apparently with an expected high of at least 50 degrees.
I’m just down the road, in Robertsdale, and our yard looks the same! It’s a great day for tea and knitting!
