There he is!

I don’t know how he got up there, but I had to stand on the counter to get him down.

Oh My GOSH….that is SOOOO like a cat I had several years ago. Dickens was a rather quiet cat…..but he LOVED to hang out on top of the cabinets…..never a scratch on the cabinets could be found!!! I think it is that “superiority” feeling thing going on that some cats have!!! OR….maybe they just enjoy the show we put on trying to “rescue” them! LOL!!!!!!

Check your little curtains for tiny holes… he might have latched on to those and climbed his way up to the top of the cabinet πŸ™‚ He’s such a pretty cat. Looks like he’s saying “yo down there – lookin’ for me? why?”

William Henry doesn’t look as if he had any particular desire to be helped down! I’m mostly stopping by to say that I love your kitchen walls.

Cute! My cat used to get on top of the refrigerator and ignore my commands she come down. When she heard my mother’s voice from a couple rooms away, she got down immediately, however.

Aww how darling! It’s funny the places these cats can get to. We recently moved into a new house, and while we had the doors off the cabinets & was painting we looked up one day and my boy cat Cody was in one of the top cabinets. No idea how he jumped up there. =O) I also adore your kitchen BTW!

Where there’s a will there’s a way! And some have more WILL than others, LOL. BTW, I would have had to clean the kitchen up before taking pictures in my kitchen … and now you know why I take nice close in tight shots. Sssssh.

WH, the flying cat? They ARE crazy sometimes, aren’t they? Lovely kitchen and best: you don’t have to dust on top of the cabinets πŸ˜‰

He seems to have a kinda smirk on his face as if to say “I’ll never tell”….
Maybe, he can sit up there, look out that window & bird?

I used to have a cat that slept on top of the refrigerator. Yours is cute! πŸ™‚

    I LOVE your kitchen!!!

Oh, funny. M had asked me yesterday if I’d seen the pic of WH on top of the cabinets. I just thought he meant the one where WH was on top of the counter. Doh!

My cat Roger, who looked an awful lot like WH, was a master at climbing. I have some good pics, somewhere, of him on the top shelf of built-in bookcases. The idea of him getting up there totally scared me, since I think he had to have jumped from the fireplace mantle – several feet away.

Oh, I miss that cat. I did just learn that my new kitty, Kiska, has a fondness for the rings that go around jugs of milk, so I toss them and she pounces, just like Roger used to.

You got him down? Poor guy. It was probably the highlight of his life to get up there and feel like lord of all he sees. Cats and high places are just too funny.

  20. KT

You could really reach the top of the cabinet while standing on the counter? Hiding and ducking so you can’t get me. Luckily you don’t know where the new house is. Oh, Cheese & Rice, I already gave you the new address! Puliing your leg of course. Mwah to WH and to y’all. See- I can still y’all with the best of ’em. MWAHHH!

One of our cats does exactly the same thing – gets up someplace high all by herself, then stands there looking helpless ! the funny thing is that they are probably laughing at all our antics when ‘rescuing” them. πŸ™‚

He’s so adorable, Emily. One of my cats likes to do that, as well. He jumps to the counter, to the refrigerator to the top of the cabinets. Then he sits there and looks at you like he’s just crowned himself king of the world. Too funny. (by the way, is that a new toaster oven I see?!)

I always enjoy a William Henry posting. (I actually enjoy ALL your posts, but WH always brings such smiles.) I love the color of your kitchen and your cabinets.
