Thanks to a Napping Day* I am halfway there. Halfway where?
Halfway through a pair!
I am also halfway through April so I’ll be spending a lot of time with the second May Day Swap Sock over the next few days. Housework and sleep are overrated. All that matters is the Swap.
Thanks for the napping, baby, I’ll return the favor someday.

*Not every day has naps in it. The days with no naps are rough days.
AHH! those cheeks! must kiss the baby cheeks! (p.s. the socks are pretty too…)
I know how rough the days can be when there are no naps. We have a 7 month old baby and a 4 year old. The baby never seems consistent with naps, and then when he does sleep the four year old needs me. 🙂
Our pediatrician told me with little kids “the days are long but the years are short” 🙂
Hang in there!
She positively adorable.
Worth a million kisses especially when she naps.
I’m not sure I would ever nap if I had that cutie to look at all day!
Oh the nap days are wonderful! My two little ones are 11 months apart. There were (and still are) days that I didn’t think I’d make it. I remember my husband coming home sometimes and telling me to do _____ when the kids are napping. GRRRR!!!! They did not want to nap at the same time.
Ellie is a doll! She has the cutest grin and I LOVE the hairdo.
Just look at that hair! How precious!
I like the pattern that you’re using on those socks! Very nice.
Socks and baby are both beautiful. Here’s hoping for many more nap days than not!
aww, she’s so cute. Yay for napping days, I’m having a no napping day today…
What SWEET little cheeks!!! Ellie gets absolutely cuter with each day!!!!
She’s so adorable… I want to squeeze those cheekies!
She looks like she’s just about to break into a smile! She’s lovely, Emily. Just beautiful. :o)
What a cutie! I love the hairdo 😀
My heart melts everytime I see a new picture of her!!! Ya done good Emily, real good!!
Ellie gets cuter every picture.
No nap days are not fun! The swing worked with my daughter (the magic sleep machine!), but not for my son. If only they knew all the sleep they’ll miss out on when they have kids!
The socks look great, but really, Ellie is much more interesting.
Happy birthday!!!
thanks so much for the Ellie photos. She is a gem.
oh and yeah… nice socks.
P>S> housework is a highly overrated activity.
I’m about to eat the computer monitor – the cuteness is very overwhelming! Good thing you’re in Alabama – I do terrible things like bite little babies. Chew chew chew. Just delicious. And I know. I’m a freak. But I can’t help it. And now I don’t have little ones of my own who can’t wiggle out of my grip!! GAH!
The socks are nice too. But hurry mommy – hold that baby some more – she’ll be running around before you know it and you won’t be able to stop her! XOXOXOOX
I could just eat her up she’s sooooo sweet!!! Glad you were able to get some knitting in…..
Hmm. I guess once you have a baby, a “napping day” no longer means “a day in which you, personally, take lots of naps.” I shall have to consider the option of procreation.
On the other hand, I look at your pictures of Ellie and the upside becomes evident as well.
I hear it is your birthday…. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Emily is incredibly cute though! I remember no nap days. My arms still get ghost spasms now and again. 🙂
The sock is so pretty! Not as pretty as the baby mind you, but still it will make a foot very happy!
Ellie!!!! More ellie! We want ellie! I want to kiss your belly eillie! And make you laugh!
My sweet swapper was mailed today. I had a ton of fun with Sweet swap. Found a great little etsy site that makes gumdrop stitchmarkers! babydragonjewelry on etsy. So cute. My swap Elizabeth loves chewy gooey candy.
How can anyone resist those cheeks? What a beautiful baby!
wow, gorgeous yarn! what kind/color is it?
Awe so sweet and adorable!
Your may day socks are beautiful too!
