I’ve been talking to Michael to see how much pain and suffering would be involved in fixing up a new Dish Rag Tag ap. He has conveyed to me that there will be pain and suffering, but not as much as the first time. Before I could secure a commitment, he inquired what sort of interest there is in the Return of Dish Rag Tag.
I said I’d find out. This is me finding out:
Brief note: It’ll be more or less the same as last time, there will still be a nominal entry fee of $1 to offset prizes and ap hosting as well as to discourage dead beats. We’ll register in August and start on Labor Day Weekend. If you have no idea what I’m talking about: Dish Rag Tag is a competitive knitting relay race. Try it, you’ll like it.
Oh I think I’m in. COuld we make it the fastest rag in the tag?
could we knit whatever kind of dishrag we can do fastest…ahem….garter that is! for me. with a shell crochet border maybe?? I’m knitting one now..
I will absolutely keep that in mind!
For the first race, everyone picked their own pattern. It was generally decided that it was a better race if everyone used the same pattern since that was the truer test of the speediest knitting.
Emily
I’m in!
I so want to participate, but we’ll be moving to Scotland around the 1st week of September. I think that counts me out right? Because I seem to remember it is US only. So sad. 🙁
It’s always so much fun… am I in… am I not… If I’m not will I be sad and regret it? Last year, I had to go lie down and recoup when Emily announced she was unable to have it…and was so glad when she released the Not Dishrag Tag Dishrag pattern. And I must admit I LOVE that pattern!!
The race is so Nerve Wracking! I guess that means I’m in!
Hello Michael, this is Dish Rag Tag we’re talking about….gauge interest…really??? Can’t imagine any other appropriate response besides, YES!!!1!
Thanks Michael, we all appreciate you so much….truly!
I will cheer from the sidelines, down here, hope you do it, it’s fun for all! (I have that URL if you want it, too.)
Yay! Although I agree with another that I loved the not dishrag tag pattern!
