No danger to us, but a fine start to the season.

I’m still trying to figure out what to do about Dish Rag Tag. Response was enthusiastic but not overwhelming in numbers. It’ll take Michael about 30 hours to remake the application. SO. I am considering the low-tech version I had originally planned all those years ago (team list of addresses enclosed in the box instead of a tracking application) is our best bet for a last DRT hurrah. A small race with three teams (cap of 42 players) makes this doable. If anyone would like to weigh in – I’d appreciate the opinions.

Andrea is making us all waterlogged here. She’s destined to plow right through us. I wouldn’t mind so much if the lawn people weren’t scheduled to come tomorrow to transform our jungle into a useable backyard. Sigh.

I think DRT sounds like a fun idea, but not having played before I don’t know how to compare the two tracking methods you mentioned. Stay safe this storm season!

So, I completely missed the post about voting for DRT, but I would be a VERY enthusiastic “HECK YEAH! I’M TOTALLY IN!!!!”

I think low tech is actually easier on a lot of participants. I’m in either way!!!

Emily you make it so fun for all of us…why not simplify and make it fun for you and michael. Low tech sounds cozy and just as fun.
Keep that pattern simple lady, you know I will stress if its complicated.

that actually sounds pretty darned awesome to me. Smaller, low tech, and low key is perfect!

I missed the voting for this year’s DRT. I would love to play again. I think keeping is simple is the way to go.

I voted but I know of several knitters that weren’t aware of the poll and would enthusiastically join in for another race.

Lower tech…lower stress. Sounds fine to me. I’m sure if we cogitate on our own techie ‘skills’ we might be able to come up with low tech alternatives.
It is all about the joy…

If you agree to host DRT again, I vote for whatever system makes it easiest for you and Michael. I will respect whatever decision you make.

I’ve participated in DRT before and it was fun. The local Fiber Arts group that I belong to had a Knit in Public day and we were discussing the DRT and what was going on. So, I for one am very much in favor of it and I’d love to participate.
