Oh I don’t miss those horrible lines at all. Or the “Mom I missed the bus.” The traffic jam to and from school and then being late for work. I do miss my kids being littles, though.
I think the fact that your child gets enough rest and awakens on her own clock is very important. I hated dragging my kids out of bed. Well, the dog did. I’d tell huck to go wake up Zach. I’d stand on the landing and point upstairs and huck’s wet nose would wake him up. I have to ask the 26 year old if he recalls this
