If I were able to back up and do it again, I would get a Graco SafeSeat instead of the SnugRide, even though it is heavier to tote. At least we wouldn’t be shopping for a new car seat at seven months. Live and learn.

Is there some reason you don’t want to go with a convertible seat yet? The Britax Marathon ( GREAT SEAT) goes from 5 to 35 pounds rear facing and then to 65 pounds front facing. We just bought those when our kids out grew the TS seats and we never had to buy another one.
