Cats have been messing with whatever their people are working on for centuries. There’s actual physical evidence.

The day we closed on the house, we walked across the street to become members of the Tennessee Valley Art Association. Because how cool is it to have an art museum for a neighbor? (seriously cool in case you don’t know)

Every year they host a Member show where TVAA members submit their work to be shown in a group show. Ellie and I have pieces hanging across the street right now!

Tomato Sandwich Day
It’s Tomato Sandwich Day! There’s a big tent at the courthouse with lots of people eating tomato sandwiches. The tomatoes were provided by 4H.

Are there fireworks for you tonight? We’ve heard them for the past three nights (since the firework stands have been open), but the big ones are tonight in Florence.
They are fired off of a barge in the middle of the river.
